Howdy from Sacramento

I just found this forum. Glad to be aboard! I'm getting started again after an 8 or 9 year hiatus. Been out for about 2 1/2 months now, and something like 1000 or 1200 miles. I usually ride a Colnago Master X Lite with Campy Chorus. But it's out right now. Had to get a new chain and cassette, so they're ordered. So I'm riding my backup, a Bianchi San Remo. It was my commuter. I'm a stay-at-home dad now, so no commute.

My MTB is a Fisher Joshua with Shimano XT.

I've been out riding with my son a lot too. He's 6. We typically ride 11 miles each session. He's doing well and about ready to upgrade to something with gears and handbrakes. I don't think it'll be long before we start looking for a road bike for him.

Hi Joel! There are quite a few members in and around Sacramento. Too many for me to list, actually. Take a look at the Northern California regional forum, and say hi to the rest of the NorCalers.

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !

Glad to have you here Joel. It's nice to see the young kids riding lots too. My kids both started at an early age as well.
