Heart Rate Monitors/ Cyclocomputers
I should start by saying thank you. I have learned a lot by reading the content
on the site.
I am interested in any links or advice about differentiating among the vast number
of heart rate monitors and cyclocomputers on the market.

Hi WOC, I'm not certain about the right forum for your question, but I think that heart rate monitors would be discussed in the Training forum, and cyclocomputers...might be in Training as well. So, you might want to ask in Training
.

Welcome.
Cyclocomputers and HRMs are two different animals.
A cyclocomputer tracks data like speed, distance, etc.
An HRM tracks data like heart rate, in zone out of zone, max heart rate, etc.
As East Hill said, look in the Training & Nutrition forum for HRM info.
Cyclocomputer info can be gleaned from Road, Training & Nutrition, General Cycling, Commuting, or anywhere.
If you have a certain model or brand, try a search for it.
