Introduction:

Marty Eison introduced me to the site.
My name is Ted Ernst and originally hail from Chicago, but moved to California.
My dad started racing and learned bike trade in Germany, 1924. Parents came from Germany to Chicago in 1929 and opened up first shop in 1934 when I was two.
I grew up in bike shop environment and started racing in 1947.
When I came back from a 22 month stay in Europe pro racing, I moved to California where I opened my shop in Manhattan Beach , LA area in 1960, and have been active in the bike game ever since.
Thought I'd sign up, give a little and learn lots more.
Ted

Hello again, I've been in your shop a few times between 1989 and 2000. You were friendly and gave me some good directions the first time I visited.
