Hello Two Wheelers !
Hello Bikers!
It's been oh about a million years since I bought a bike, but I am / have been a marathon runner and go fast car guy seemingly forever.
That said suddenly at a local charity bike used sale I tripped into this 97ish(?) Bianchi San Remo for $100.
Here it is after a four hour clean up:
Then feeling soooo suddenly Italian I couldn't pass on this 65ish Specialissima:

Will keep you posted on how things progress.
I need to get a bike configured for some races / events. I have a Ducati CF frame but will, presumably,
need to add wheels and brakes.
Stay tuned for that idiocy.

Hello airbil, I would guess your San Remo is older than 1997, but I could be wrong 
.
If you haven't already found your way there, you should head for the Classic & Vintage forum and ask the experts. But, the San Remo has downtube shifters which means it's probably more like 1987.
