Hello from Toronto!
Hello all!
I'm John, I currently live in Toronto, Canada, and I commute on my mountain bike with street friendly tires. I also bike recreationally alone and with friends, but have not yet found the courage/time to get into touring or racing with groups as some of my friends have.
As others in this thread, I came here just to peep at discussions, but I signed up because I'd like to help a friend learn to ride and I could use whatever help exists for teaching a 30-year old that's never had a bike!

Hi John, so many members here from Toronto it's absolutely amazing! Check out the General Cycling forum for threads on how to help a person learn to ride a bike. It's easier than they think, really
