Hello from the Fingerlakes

I've been reading the forums for a few months and finally registered. This is my first year that I have taken cycling seriously. I picked up a Trek 2.1 back in April. I ride about 150 miles a week and I love it. I'm always trying to add miles to my ride. This Sunday I will enter my first race more for fun than competition. In hindsight I wish I spent a bit more on my bike to get some better components but it works for now. I look forward to upgrading to a better bike. Cheers.

Hello csidd, the Trek's not a bad bike to start, but if you plan on doing much racing, I would definitely be looking to upgrade eventually.

Are any of your miles from commuting, or are you doing a lot of long rides on the weekends?

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !

Thanks for the welcome. I do not ride to commute, I ride every day in some capacity usually 20-40 miles. I would like to find others that would like to go on long Sunday rides.
