Welcome to the forums. Check out the Texas page as well. I'm over here in Garland, riding my cruiser bike, a unicycle, and a couple of other oddities around.

Thanks for the welcome everyone! I have about 60 miles commuting this last week. Also bought a Schwinn Mesa earlier this week and am converting it. I think the mountain bikes are a little slow for commuting. I have a 16 mile per day round trip and would like something that will cruise a little faster more comfortably. Right now it is taking me about 40 minutes commuting with stops, clothes, shoes and lunch. I'd like to get closer to a 30 minute commute. I know lose weight and pedal faster...
I'm looking at racking up my Cannondale road bike. I'm not sure if I can rack it and commute with the drop bars and shifts down low...

Here you go East Hill.

Pics of the bikes. I had never really thought of taking bike pics, but it is a good idea.

Trek 820 - commuter

Schwinn Mesa - fixer upper commuter

Cannondale - road

Hello from another Planonian (is that the correct term for one who is from Plano?) Nice "bikes"!
I need to post a pic of my '07 Harley Street Glide.

Lots of Richardson / Plano / N. Dallas area folks around. Plenty that ride two wheels with a motor as well. I think I might recognize that Cannondale, have you been on any PBA rides in the past?

I haven't been on on any PBA rides. Maybe the bike has something to tell me? I wonder how many of that old Cannondale model there are in this area? I don't think I've seen another like it. I can't even recall what the model is...

Howdy from another Plano area member. The dropouts on that Cannondale make me think it is an old 3.0. I live off Custer on the Plano / Richardson border. Address is in Richardson, kids go to Plano schools.

Cuda2k I doubt you are imagining things, the Cannondale has a very distinctive look and sticks out in a crowd. I'd love to see more of them on the road.
