Greetings and Salutations from Lincoln, Ne
Hey there Hi There ho there from the Great American desert. I have lurked for some time-you see my join date in 2005. I occasionally posted over the last few years, and have had three different bikes, two of which didn't really work out (a MotoBecane from Ebay that I discovered had lost the name cache' and quality some years ago, and a used bike shop find Cannondale 3.0 that was the wrong size, unfortunately). I now have scored a CL Hardrock sport older frame shape, with glossy paint and the fuzz still on the tires. A trip to the LBS today resulted in (gulp) 125.00 worth of lights and saddle, and after this afternoon I should be in good shape to get back into good shape.
I am currently close to a Clyde, at 278, and 5' 10". I was in the Army for awhile a few years ago and hurt my back in a training accident that resulted in discharge. I finally finished my BS in May at Doane and I work for a small software company in Lincoln.
Here's seeing you out and about!

Welcome to the forums. If you're at 278, you're well into Clyde status, so swing by the Clydesdale forum sometime.
I've been in the SW corner of Nebraska a few times when we lived in Fort Collins, Co. What I remember is a whole lot of wind. I opened the door on the minivan and wind caught it and bent the hinges. Seems like we went to the Cabela's down there.

Hi Alathea, your CL find is a great Clyde bike! Do check out the Clydesdales/Athenas forum--a lot of very nice folks, and some great motivational stories in that forum.
