Hello From Sacramento

My wife and I bought his-and-hers Trek 7100s about a month and a half ago. I'm not a new cyclist—more of a recyclist. I hadn't ridden any bike for 24 years. I've now logged 300 miles. I ride every day, usually twice a day—a longish ride in the morning before it gets hot and a shortish ride just before dusk. I ride for fun, not exercise, although I've dropped some pounds along the way and I didn't go back to retrieve them. Nice to virtual-meet everybody here.

Howdy Bookman. I'm in Rancho Cordova. I spend a lot of my riding time on the AM River Trail. It's pretty crowded on the weekends, but empty during the week.

Hello Bookman, there's a regular contingent of BF members in Sacramento. I've had a lovely ride along the AM River Trail with BlankCrows and bigbossman when I visited Northern California this past April. Check out the regional forums, and say hi!

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !
