Hello carmat3, are you going to be doing some commuting with your new folder? Are you going to be travelling?

This ride also involved some night riding, so is a good thing I stopped by Performance bicycles here and Santa monica and purchased some lights.
The little black plastic thingins on the pedals came off last night, only on one of the pedals. Other than that it was fine, for the exception of my Aching ass! The seat killed me, even though I bought and wore, some nice padded biking shorts yesterday.. I will try adjusting the seat some more, and will see..
thanks..

Hey carmat3, have you gotten over the aching rear end yet? How many miles have you put on the bike?

I have purchased a new seat, its definitely more comfortable. I put on about 60 to 70 miles so far. I found out how dangerous it could be riding the beach bike trail, through santa monica, and venice. People darting across, dumb asses changing direction with out even thinking about looking to see if people are behind them, runners, rollerbladers, and other bikers, on the narrow trail make it a bit dangerous. Once you get out of this area it bet better..
