Hello from Philly!

I just wanted to say hi and intoduce myself. I have been commuting in Philadelphia going on 5 years now from various neighborhoods, ranging from 2 miles to 5 miles (one way). I have 2 bikes, a Fuji Crosstown 4.0 and a Specialized Corssroads Deluxe. I admit, I do not know too much about bikes but I have decided this is the year to learn especially for doing repair work and maintenance.

Hi Philly Rider, if you don't know much about bikes now, you will in a few months if you lurk in the Bicycle Mechanics forum.

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !

Hi Philly Rider...

I am a couple of hours north of you, so welcome from another PA rider. I know a couple o f other riders from closer to your area, so I am sure you will bump into them as you wander around the forums and they notice your user name.

Hi Back, from philly

Just joined in Philly today as well! There's a group called Neighborhood Bike Works that operate out of a church on the Penn campus that teach an adult class on bicycle repairs. You can either pay them or agree to volunteer for them for the lessons and you'll learn a ton!
