hey. i was without internet for a while, and now that i am (somewhat settled) in my new home in beautiful san francisco, i will probably be nerding out online for bike stuff. I have a beautiful red cinelli track bike. (she's my baby even though she got some nicks and cuts in the rough streets of new york and needs a new paint job/decals) but i ride her probably 3-6 hours a day on average. she is constantly glued to my bike-ass, no matter where i go in the country. i just moved here from new york where i went to vegan/vegetarian culinary school, and before that i lived in l.a. for a few years where i started riding a single speed, which turned into a converted fixed after about a month, then i got my track bike (which i found by posting on the trackbikes.com bb a long time ago)
so hello, and get in touch if you live in san frandisco and want to bike it...or live in ny (i'll be visiting/possibly moving back this summer!)

Hey Katherine...welcome to the forums!! As I grew up in northern California (Sacramento) and have visited San Francisco many many many times..alll I can say is to be sure your brakes are working before you go riding in San Francisco. Some of those hills would be very interesting to ride down...but one place that would be real cool to ride in is a spot just north of there called Muir Woods (in Marin County). Well, hope you enjoy yourself in here!!
