New old kid from NYC

I am an avid Central Park (and elsewhere) rider, and I write a lot about cycling too, because writing is how I earn my living. I'm a former New York Times reporter who contributes articles on cycling, travel, sports, books and real estate to top national publications. A featured writer for the new Lance Armstrong LiveSTRONG Web site, I also write a senior bicycling blog of my own. In addition I write about Senior Adventures for Suite101.com. For my 50th birthday I rode my bike cross country to raise money for breast cancer research.
