Vintage 'American Eagle' riders

To all who ride vintage bikes. I'm pulling my American Eagle 'OLYMPIAD' 10 speed out of retirement in celebration of it's 40th anniversary and the 2008 Olympics. I'm restoring the bike and I'm looking for other riders or vintage bike individuals that have information on this bike. In my search for information I find very little and nothing from the late 60's. My ride is an original 1968. If any one out there has info to share I'd like to here from you.

Welcome to the forums Crisco7. Make sure to go to the Classic and Vintage Forum, tons of info on older bikes to be found in there.

Bikes: Nishiki Nut! International, Pro, Olympic 12, Sport mixte, and others too numerous to mention.

T-Mar can probably help you out with that bike. As you know, American Eagle is how Nishikis were sold in the US when they first started being sold in the US.

But, definitely talk to the C & V folks.

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !
