Glad to be here to learn and share knowledge!

I've been cycling "seriously" since 2005 when I started doing some mountain biking. In 2006 I purchased a Felt F75 road bike and completed the Valero MS150 "Bike to the Beach" - a 150 mile charity ride from San Antonio to Corpus Christi, TX.

I've used computers all my life and have owned/used Garmin GPS cycle computers from the very start. I recently upgrade from an Edge 305HR to a 705.

I am a passionate cycling advocate and newbie commuter. I bike to work 2-3 times a week with a round-trip distance of 20-22 miles.

I fly Skyhawks from time to time on the weekend! :-) It's for pleasure, not work. I work in Northwest San Antonio and my primary job is studying human/computer interactions - usually in the form of usability testing a web site, etc.
