Greetings

Hi-

I'm new and trying to get back into cycling after about an 8 year layoff. The last organized ride that I participated in was the 1999 Death Ride in the central Sierra Nevada Mountains. Although I finished the ride and made all 5 passes, I was so miserable and suffered so much, that I never really rode again.

I have 3 bikes and am building a 4th, just cause! I love bikes, just not riding them.

Hello LP, that's an interesting twist, but we still like cycling here . What bikes do you have, and do you have photos?

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !

Thanks East Hill,

I'm half joking about hating to ride. I'm sure once I get back in shape I'll love it again.

I will get some photo's of my bikes up soon. I really should have photos, they are like my children!

Just for the record:
1. Kestral MTB with a full XTR groupo (My sweetest ride)
2. Motobecane Phantom Cross with a few upgrades (my beater and beach cruiser)
3. A self built Leader Frame with a Shimano 105 Groupo Road Bike.
4. I am building a touring/commuter from a Nashbar Touring Frame and a mix-mash of parts.
5. I have a very bare and lonely Bridgestone RB -1 Frame that is too good to toss, but haven't done anything with it yet.

A nicely balanced group there! Very impressive. I would not want to get ride of the RB-1 either if it fit me. On the other hand, it's worth more than a few bucks to the right person!
