Hello everyone,

I'm Jason, I've got a Trek Navigator 3.0 and my wife has a Trek Pure Deluxe Lowstep. I love the bike, we try to ride 3 or 4 times a week, we use them for grocery runs and when the weather is nice riding on the beach (I make sure to scrub them down and relube the chain after a beach ride). Mostly though we bought them for fitness purposes, my wife has lost about 20 pounds and I've lost 10. It really helps we are in a VERY bike friendly neighborhood, but we are in beach cruiser country, which is what the wife originally wanted but I talked her into something that would be more versatile.
Here are some obligatory pics.

That is very cool that you take the bike whilst grocery shopping. For many people, that's one of the biggest excuses they have for not being able to use the bike more often :( .

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions :) !

Well I have the 2 grocery side bags, my backpack and my wife has a basket, between all that we can easily carry home enough groceries for the 2 of us for a week. The great thing about using the bikes is that it really does cut down on impulse buying but we don't have to meticulously plan on what we need to buy either. The side bags are great, they can fit a paper grocery bag or can just fit a case of beer :).
