Shout out from Philippines
 

Mountain biker here in Manila, Philippines. I have family in California, Missouri, New Jersey and Virginia and would like to have the experience of riding there next time i visit. For any of you guys finding your way into our neck of the woods, just give me a holler for bike and trail ride info. We have a very active biking community in this forum http://www.pinoymtbiker.org/forum/. Though most speak Tag-lish (combination Tagalog local vernacular and English) anyone will understand plain English. Mountain and road biking is booming here and though the streets of Manila are still hell on earth to navigate, there are some pretty good trails around the city and nearby provinces. Best to travel in packs.:)

Hello fryboy, I have heard of the Pinoy mountain bikers before, and it seems to me that a few other members here belong to that organisation.

At any rate, if I am every in the Philippines, I intend to see about hitting the trails with you guys :D .
