Hello from Baltimore

hi all...just saying whats up from B-more. I actually live south of the city, but I ride a lot around the harbor, and on a trail that runs between Baltimore and Annapolis. I'm new to serious cycling, (you know, had bikes as a kid, etc)...but earlier this year my dad had his old raleigh supercorse rebuilt, and a rode it, and loved it. I immediately bought a nice white 1987 12 speed Schwinn Letour with a sweet 105 group and rode the heck out of it....until I rode my first fixed gear So I bought a used frame, and old and evidently rare Swedish road bike that called a Crescent. Its a very cool orange with funky checkerboard graphics and Swedish words like "VARLDSMASTARCYKELN" on it. Tinker-er that I am, I decided I was going to build this one myself. Needless to say, I learned a lot about bike parts, but I didnt spin my wheels too much. Just finished her last night and the maiden voyage was AWESOME...Im posting pics in the fixie/ss section when I take them.
