Hi from Indiana

Hi,

I just moved to Bloomington, Indiana. I'm from California and lived in Rhode Island before this, so the midwest seems pretty different. I biked from Boston to Santa Barbara this summer and had an amazing time. I'm trying to keep cycling as much as possible while also working full time and adjusting to my new home.

And, I picked my username because banana concretes are my favorite post-ride treat.

Wow, that is some hard core touring! What bike did you ride on the tour?

Welcome to BikeForums, and don't hesitate to send me a PM if you have any questions .

Bloomington, eh?

You should join the Bloomington Bicycle Club. We have lots of fun rides and fun people.

East Hill: I rode a Specialized Dolce. We had a sag van so I didn't need to carry much gear with me and a road bike worked fine.

JoeMetal: It's cool to see someone else from Bloomington. I've seen the cycling club website and I keep meaning to come out to a ride but riding with a group of strangers intimidates me a bit. I'll try and make it next Saturday though.

A Specialized Dolce Elite was my first decent bike, and I still love the saddle which came with the bike !
