A good saddle is one that fits your butt. Before you buy ask the shop if you gan swap it after riding a few hours.

Started having trouble down there.

Bought a RX saddle but it doesn't seem to be doing the job.

That's a good saddle. I started with one of those in 2000-2001.
Since you aren't used to sitting on a bicycle seat (as opposed to a soft cushy seat), it will take your butt a little time to get used to sitting on your sit bones rather than your entire butt. :eek:

RX does seem to be a good saddle so far after 100 miles.
Not perfect but bothers me a little less than the stock saddle.
