Hello to fellow enthusiasts...
I've been asked to introduce myself.....I am an architect in portland and back "in the day" ( in the 70's while in my 20's) I did a little racing while residing in Boulder,Co. I've always loved the sport and vowed when I was able I would own one of the classic road racing machines that I could not afford "in the day". Well frankly that has gotten out of control! I would assume given this is about bikes the steeds one owns would be of interest to readers? That said I have the following stable (of which, will soon be thinned out per my wife).
2007 Colnago C50 (this stays)
84 masi prestige ( a little rough, my rain bike, I live in Portland, Or)
87 Pinarello Chromonero (an 8 out of 10)
Colnago Master (an 8 out of 10)
Merckx Molteni (the reproduction circa 1994, 9 out of 10)
A show worthy Colnago Arabesque w/ 50 Campy Anniversary Gruppo ( 10 out of 10, a masterpiece)
As I said I've gotten out of control.
Nice to meet all of you.....
Best

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Welcome.
You probably have already tried, but, any chance on converting you wife to cycling? Then you can keep your bikes.
