Hello from Buffalo

I'm a roadie, although I use the term very loosely... just got my first road bike this summer ('06 Specialized Allez Elite) and I've totally fallen in love with it. Unfortunately, I don't get out on it nearly as much as I'd like to, and now with winter around the corner, it looks like it's about to be relegated to trainer duty. Or maybe I could just get some cold weather clothes and, as they seem to be so fond of saying over in Road Cycling, HTFU. anyway, looking forward to spending probably too much time here!

Rory

Are you in the City or around it? I grew up just South of Buffalo. Where do you usually ride?

That bike is too nice to keep riding once they start spreading salt on the roads. Then switch to a 10 speed from the charity shop.

I'm in Kenmore, and my routes usually involve Grand Island, Amherst and/or Niagara County.
