Hi from Tampa, FL
Been reading the posts for several months and find them entertaining and enlightening. There isn't much that can't be found using the search function for all my questions and BF has been a great resource.
I've been riding for about 2 yrs, mostly on the Suncoast Trail and Starkey Park north of Tampa. There is such a variety of bikers on these trails, its easy to hop on a group or visa versa. I prefer the MUT's rather than the road unless I'm riding in a large group. Too many distracted drivers on the road and the wildlife on the trail - deer, alligators, wild hogs, are always fun to avoid.
The temps in FL are dropping and the winds are picking up which makes for great training conditions. Just love those tail winds to hammer home on. Riding a Cannondale R1000 and found the wife a Trek 2100, both bought used on craigslist.
Enjoy the ride.
