New Man with an Iron Horse

Hello to Bikeforums.net, i have been perusing the form lately and finally joined, I am new to the biking world, I am a Senior in High School in Kentucky. I have a 2004 Iron horse Warrior (mtb) that has virtually never been ridden on and i bought it for only $100 (there's a story behind it). Back in August i decided i wanted to start biking, and i had a old "wal-mart' bike that was collecting dust from when i was a kid, so i started riding it, then one night when i rode it to church, one of the men who was leaving for Florida said that he had a $800 bike from his college years. He had gotten it from his uncle who owns a bike store up in Newport, Illinois thinking that he could use it in college. Well the man who sold it to me is really heavyset and knew he would never use it (i am ~165-1700 and he was twice my size). He had basically stored it, he at first said $200 but eventually brought it down for $100, he really just wanted to get rid of it. I had researched iron horse and found out that it was a good bike brand and hoped on to the deal. When the weather turns warm again i will start truly riding it and hopefully one day also buy a Road bike

You got a nice price on the Iron Horse! With luck, you can find a nicely priced road bike, especially if you start liking vintage steel bikes.

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !
