Howdy

Hi All,
I'm from NYC but currently live in Seattle. I'm a 300 mile per week bike commuter. I love riding.

Hi Mike! I see from the PNW subforum that you live in Shoreline. Do you do most of your commuting on the BG?

That is an awesome mileage total, by the way. Where do you work?

Oh, I'm in Kent, by the way .

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !

I switch it up sometimes, a couple of days I do the Burke and sometimes I do the bike lanes on regular street. So the 300 would be if I took the Burke everyday. So to tell the truth I average between 220 to 300 per week. I work in Ballard right next to the Ballard bridge.
If you are commuting from Kent that's a heck of a long ways. Rock on with that commute. I've been enjoying the balmy wet weather lately.

My commute isn't as far as yours--sometimes it's a 20 mile round trip (ten miles to work and back), but often it's just the ten miles home (my husband drops me off at work on his way to his workplace three miles down the road and I ride home).

I am soooo with you on the enjoyment of the balmy wet weather! I not only don't mind riding in the rain, I find it positively energising .
