Where are you from? Southern WV, southwest VA (USA) - a great place to ride by the way

What do you ride? A Trek 4300 hard tail mountain bike

How long have you been riding? roughly 40 years

Anything else we should know about you?

My first bike was a yellow 5-speed Schwinn with a banana seat. It was a present for my 7th or 8th birthday. I rode it constantly for about 10 years. It fell into disrepair and the local bike shop closed. I'm not much of a mechanic - so I rode my dad's 10-speed until it broke. I discovered girls and jobs (to pay for the dates) and drifted away from cycling.

My biggest regret in life is that I didn't ride much between about 14 and 43. About 3 1/2 years ago, I bought a Trek to rediscover my lost love. Well, I got a bit of a slow start, but I have lost almost 80 pounds (almost 50 in the last 16 months) and have about 3,000 miles on my Trek in 2008. My goal for 2009 is 3,300!

Great weight loss.
You need to make up the miles you lost between 14 and 43.
