Hi from London

London teenage girl, been riding since I was about 8, but took a long break when I thought I couldn't ride in a riding a second hand Hercules 3-gear womens style road bike with a broken saddle that keeps trying to kill me but I won't get replaced because buying a saddle would cost more than the bike itself did.

Reading this back, it seems like a slightly eccentric first post but oh well! Hope to get to know you all better...

Dont worry about the cost of the saddle, because you can move it to your next bike. Having a comfy saddle will increase the value of the bike ten times. I spent a couple of weeks in London last August and had a great time. 3 speed bike are OK for riding around town if you dont have to deal with any steep hills.
