Hi from So.America!
Hi there,
I have a Shogun 300 since 1983 and never cared much about it. After surfing several sites and observing how some of this '80s beauties were restored, I've decided to start some restoration on it myself. Actually, it only needs a minor fix on the front brakes and probably (havenīt checked thoroughly yet) a slightly bent steerer/fork. All parts are original except for the left crank arm which had to be adapted after a major surgery on the crankset spindle (machined and threaded).
I'm not familiar with the biking jargon yet, so I'd really appreciate any directions to a comprehensive bike parts or vocabulary reference. I'll try to post some pics soon. Thanks,
Shogun 300.

Welcome to the Forums! Where are you in South America? I have been to Argentina, and I really enjoyed it.
As far as vocabulary is concerned, you might check out the Park Tool web site for learning about the names of parts as well as repair tips.
I hope you enjoy the Forums!
