Hi people...I am lemon... i got diagnose with diabetes two years ago.. So i got really fat with the new meds..so i had enough.and thought i fight the diabetes head on..i thought i get started in loosing weight..so i jumped in ..and got a bike.. and here i am..

Keep that blood sugar under control. What has helped me to have a good attitude about having diabetes is staying extremely active. I'm insulin dependent, so my diabetes is quite different from your diabetes, but the best advice I can give you is never never never ever leave the house without a full pocket of candy, lol. It will save your life!

I can't stress enough how important that is. I had an unexpected drop after leaving the house for a dogwalk around the block. Luckily, somebody actually answered the door and gave me some soda and Halloween candy. Otherwise, I would have passed out.

i did my first run today at griffith park..10 mile..not flat as i expected..on my new seven bike..took me 2 hours and 4 stops..am not liking the campy clips..here is my bike that i had built.

. it was weird at first ..17 years off the saddle..and yes my ass hurts a like a mother..i thought i was not going to make it but i did..thanks you all for the warm welcome...
