Hello From Eastern Ontario

Hi all - Just thought I'd say hello from eastern Ontario. I'm a 50 + year old who's been cycling since age 5 and I cycle an average of 2000 to 3000 km per year through ever season; cycling is great! I'm looking forward to learning and sharing lots here.

Studded tires and dressing warm are what I do for winter riding ... and I do a lot of it.

Hi Frontfork--love the photo! How deep is the snow at the moment?

Welcome to BikeForums, and don't hesitate to send me a PM if you have any questions.

Thanks East Hill. I was sidewalk riding and there's about 2" of hard packed snow on them right now.

We had a similar situation here in Puget Sound a couple of weeks ago. Oh, it was nasty!!!! Now the snow is gone, but the grit from the sanders is still here.
