El Cerrito CA says Hi!

Hello all. I found this forum to be one of the few places on the whole internets where I could find any information at all on the used Scapin road frame I bought on Ebay, so I figured I might as well join up. I am a commuter/mtber/fitness cyclist. I have always loved bikes and in the past few years I have increased my mileage and intensity. I did the Mount Diablo Challenge last year (time trial up the mountain), and will do it again this year. My goal is to crack the top half. I own five bikes: a 90's Scapin road frame I built up with various discounted bits; a 1971 Schwinn Sports Tourer fendered fixie; a 2006 Giant xtc2 hard tail; a 1990 Fisher Hoo-Koo-E-Koo shopping bike; and a 1984 Trek 400 that is in the shop for paint and rebuild. All steel except the Giant.

Welcome! You might find the Singlespeed/Fixed Gear forum interesting, also the Classic and Vintage forum.

Hi SB, a lot of nice steel in that bunch! A lot of the C & Vers can be found in your area, so do stop by the Classic & Vintage forum and start bragging .
