Hi - I'm new here!
Have recently got back on my bike after a period of not using it much.
Been out every week now for about three months and finally starting to feel some benefit (those hills!!!).
I know this is the wrong place for this sort of question - but perhaps I'll strike lucky...
Have been using my Mountain bike (and thru' the nasty weather it's been okay) with toe clips, but been looking at getting my road bike dusted down this past week, it has a set of Shimano clip pedals on it - the cleats on my shoes are Shimano SM SH55 - are these still compatible with more modern pedals or am I going to have to invest some hard earned in updating?

Yes, best to ask the MTB folks. I know a lot of the old cleats can be used still (and those of us in C & V like to do so), but they could be hard to find.
Oh, and where are you doing your mountain biking?
