Big-Time Newbie, 27 yr old, First Triathlon - Need LOTS of advice
I'm attempting both my first Sprint and Olympic distance Triathlons later this year ...
But first things first, I NEED TO FIND MY FIRST BIKE! And am really struggling to find something that will work.
I'm 6'4", 225 lbs - so its my understanding to look for a 62" frame - but I DEFINITELY need a used bike. I'm looking to keep my bike budget under $700 if possible.
Anyone with any advice or pointers on locating a bike would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Travis

Ebay and craigslist are going to be your best source for bikes in that price range. You are going to need a XL frame. Best of Luck.

TRY WWW.BIKESDIRECT.COM
Your $700.00 will go a long way. Buying new, free shipping. I'm looking at a Motobecane Immottal Pro Reg $2600 for $1195 ... Shimano Ultegra gearing, carbon brame, forks, crank...etc.

You wont find a 62" frame but the Windsor Royal Tri comes in 61 cm and is in your price range https://www.bikesdirect.com/products/road_bikes.htm Dont believe the list prices but they are still good value.
