Hello from NYC

Hi Everyone. I'm a long-time, on and off lurker. Just started commuting via bike since the MTA is going to raise train fares again.

I'm riding my monsterous, department store, double-suspension, $Htbox everyday over the queensboro bridge and back. I'm loving every minute in almost every condition! Anyway, glad to be able to finally post!

That's why we love this place! Most of us don't care what you ride, as long as you enjoy yourself!

Hi. I just joined the forums (& probably should introduce myself too).

I'm in NYC too. The trains seem to always be screwed up & the MTA wants to raise fares?? No thanks. I try to ride my folding bike as often as I can to get to where I have to go but it's so darn cold right now... But I brave the cold, snow & ice most of the time anyway.

Welcome to the forums, fellow NYer. :-)
