Hi from Asheville

I love this town.. Going to bike the trans-am trail in April 2010 with my partner. Planning and saving now. Gathering every small piece of info possible before embarking on the greatest adventure so far in my life. Going to buy a Surly LHT and a nomad trailer. I currently ride a 1963ish (i think) Huffy Earth Cruiser. It weighs about 75# and has only one gear. I am bringing it back. I have a bell and a basket. To hard to tour with though!

Hey at least you are riding!! I'd like to take a tour one day but because of work, it's going to be hard to. I just don't get the time off. If you can swing it, by all means go for it!! There's nothing like doing something new to open up your world to adventure.

By the way....welcome to Bike Forums!
