New to Bike Forum - Looking for vintage bike

Hello. Friend of mine told me about this forum. Live in Sacramento and would like to start road biking as my knees can't take running any more. I'm a bit old fashioned and looking for an old steel frame from the 70's-80's, preferable Italian if I could find one. Frame size a 53-54 CM. I'm not looking for really high end stuff, but just something to get me on the road for now. Test road a vintage Pinarello, but it was bit too big, would love to find a smaller one like that. If anyone has something they'd like to sell, please feel free to let me know. Much appreciated. Nico

Welcome to Bike Forums. There's a lot of people in the classic & vintage bike forum that would agree with your choice of bike frame material. Good luck with your search.
