Hello everyone my name is Jesse and I'm located in Springfield, IL. I have just gotten back into bicycling i mainly road bmx bikes as a child. I purchased a 2008 Marin San Rafael yesterday just to get started and i am hoping if everything works out and i really enjoy it ill switch to a road bike in a year or so. Im thinking that ill really be liking it because i rode it today for about 2 hours and yesterday for about and hour and forty five minutes.

Welcome to the forum Jesse. As you can see, it gets addicting and next thing you know you'll own several bikes. Well at least you're doing your part to keep the economy going.

My arse was sore the first day but after that it was all good ive been riding about 20 miles a day the first four days the legs were feeling it but now im golden. I think ill step it up to a longer ride.

That's nice. You could add bar ends to give a change of hand position for the longer rides. Do you ride by yourself or with friends?
