Howdy!
My bike story is a little odd:
I attend a major Texas University, and so there are bikes all over the place. One day when I was visiting a friend at her dorm, I noticed there was a bike missing its front wheele and seat leaned up against the back wall of the dorm. I told myself that if that was there for a month, and no one moved it, I would rebuild it to its former glory. A month passed, and as I was on my way to pick it up, I saw that the bike repo guys were there (it was almost spring break, so they were clearing out all the abandoned bikes). I asked them if I could take the one I was interested in, and they said of course! So I longboarded it back (which was quite a sight!), and stored it in my dorm until I could fix it up!
A couple days later, I took it to the bike shop infront of my work, and asked if they could hook me up, and they were extremely helpful! Now I ride it for fun/exercice in the mornings and evenings, and I ride it to work. I haven't even touched my car in a week!
My boy when I brought him home!
All fixed up

Welcome to BF.
Great find. Thanks for the pics.
BTW - are you sure it's a boy?

That is indeed a great find! I can't believe someone would abandon it. Kudos to you for waiting and asking the bike repo guys for permission, too.
