A sunny hello from Ft Lauderdale

New to this forum..discovered it while researching web info for a new bike and touring to Europe this summer. Have about decided on a Trek 1000 low end price wise and a nice ride
Heading out to spend 6-10 weeks in Europe starting in mid July, mostly hostels and BnBs, and If I get my nerve up may buy camping gear there.

Any one care to forward info on Eastern Europe it would be greatly appreciated and if you live in Ft Lauderdale I'd be happy to buy coffee at Panera on US1 to meet and talk about it

Moved from Ft. Lauderdamndale about 5 years ago 100 miles up the coast to Ft. Pierce. Many fond memories of riding along the Strip. Get down evey now and then. I'll try to take you up on the coffee.

Hi there, if you're in Europe then the Netherlands is a must. Car free cycle lanes everywhere. Went to Ft Lauderdale once many years ago, didn't go by bike though ;)
