Newbie from Central Oregon
I've been coming to this site for about 6 months now and it finally occurred to me that I should make a profile here. I'm 23 and live in the High Desert of Oregon which makes for some great weather to ride in. Too bad the roads aren't up to par with the climate 
Right now I ride an old no-name mountain bike (as far as I know since Google turned up nothing) that my mom bought for me at a LBS 10+ years ago. I quit biking about 6 years ago because of school, preparing for college, and just not enough time to bike. Now that I have diabetes I need something to do that I can get plenty of exercise on and after last summer of going on short bike rides I think I'll stick to it this time. I'm currently looking into getting a cheaper ($200) road bike since I've been riding on the roads more than the trails this past year.
