What up world! I just found this sight and it's AWESOME! People from all around the wolrd gather hear to mainly talk about ONE thing...BIKING!

I live in downtown T.O. and own a custom hand-built (myself) road bike. An 0-6 Kona Kula and hope to own a new CX bike soon! Planning to do a few races in the fall for cx but nothing major, I'm still a student and the workloads are immense, I'm in animation getting my bachelor's at Sheridan!

I love to explore and biking gives me my freedom. I also love to run and enjoy the beautiful scenery, that's why I think my move to a CX bike is gonna give me more options to do that, portaging the bike sounds fun too. I feel like an explorer.

that's about it, just here cause I love talking about biking.

In the 70s I lived near Finch/Islington and it was less than a mile to get into the country. When I visit there now, that is more like downtown - urban sprawl.

greenpeppers, do you cycle with TBN or just on your own?

Haha! I haven't cycled with TBN yet, but I have an account. I'm in the middle of selling/buying a bike so I can actually ride some trails. Right now I'm jsut ridin on my own, but sometimes I like riding with others. I'm hoping I'll be able to do some centuries with them this year and I'm gonna do the Hairshirt NEXT year for sure. I gotta train for that one because I only found out about it recently, and my able body bikes aren't physically up to the challenge right now either.

I've never actually been up to Finch and Islington...I've lived here my whole life!

I'm also doing the Ride for Heart June 7th, hopefully I'll have a good bike by then! Hope to see you all there!
