Hello from GA!
Hello,
I'm a 45 year old guy who was recently told by his doctor/brother-in-law that he needed to be getting more exercise. I've got a lot of options and tried many of them (still doing some), but even with the old, ill-fitting bicycle I had...I found I enjoyed that best. Fast forward a month and I decided if I was going to ride, I wanted a more comfortable bike that fit me better. Picked up a Haro Heartland Express LE and I'm loving it so far. A month ago, I guess I'd have qualified for 'Clydesdale' status, but I've fallen below that level now and I'm not looking back. I'm here to learn all I can, but I tend to read a lot more than post so, I'll be over here 'reading the mail'.
Cheers, everyone!

Welcome to BikeForums and congrats on the weight loss.
Stop by the Southeast Regional subforum and say hello to the locals. And if you're in the Atlanta area say hello in the Atlanta/Decatur thread.

Thanks for the kind welcome. I'm not near Atlanta...over closer to Augusta. Unfortunately, not really close enough for much interaction with Augusta folk either. Oh well, the price you pay for living in the country, I suppose. Fortunately, my wife has decided that she's going to follow my lead and is keeping me company.
