Greetings !!
Well right to the point, I got the fever. It comes and goes but mostly it comes.
I'm 46 years old and live in New Jersey about eight miles from NYC. Great area for riding. Got a place by Mt. Snow vermont and enjoy both areas.
My bikes
(1) Road: Giant Cadex, getting old been leaning toward an airborne
(2) MT: Giant Iguana, My bread and butter bike
(3) MT: Giant Yukon
(4) MT: Schwinn Frontier
(5) Cruiser, peewee herman style
(6) Cruiser: old sears single speed, restored last year
Enjoy hanging in the local shop during the winter and I do basic maintenance on all the bikes in the hood for the kids and folks at work, still make lots of silly mistakes, but I'm learning, been to a maintenance class, it helps
Been in the trainer all winter. I do a charity ride from NJ to DC every May, I'm a big guy so I have to work at it. I keep lightening the bike instead of losing weight. I use the Iguana on the ride and has become my nickname on the tour and in the woods.
Well I'm sure I'll be picking brains shortly as I'm always full of questions

Hi salamibender, nice username!
Welcome to the forums, I'm sure you'll have lots of advice for us, as well as asking questions, with all that maintenance work.

Welcome! Sounds like a goodly number of machines in your stable. Hope to be one of those who might help with answers when you pose the questions. Anyway, glad you decided to join the group.
