Found old bike on the road
I was driving through central Seattle a few weeks ago, between Union and Madison street, when I saw a
free pile, and there leaning on a trash can was an old 24inch thin tired bicycle, spray painted flat black over metalic green. I had a kind of anarchy appeal to it. A very straight, light frame, both wheels road fairly smooth. So I grabbed it, took it home and road it for a couple of days, until I heard some noise in the rear axle. It had a single sprocket rear end, so i thought, simple enough, but when i took it apart the non-sprocket side of the wheel spilled out into my hand bearings and broken metal parts.....as it turns out
this is an old bendix three speed kick back....All I want to do is replace that bearing. Is this too much to ask.
