Bikes over cars... FTW!
Hello
I am new, and pleased to join such a clearly vibrant online forum, about a topic which is close to my heart.
I recently moved back to rural Gloucestershire (UK), from London, after years of working in the exciting yet stagnant metropolis.
But after moving back, rather than throw money away on a car, I have been delighted to be able to embrace a new bicycle.
Well, I say new. I could never cope with the anxiety of owning a new bicycle. My 'new' bike very much second hand (or third, or fourth, probably!) but it is new to me. Which is what counts!
I love cycling, and living off my own steam. And I look forward to discussing the passion of cycling more with everyone!
Best wishes one and all...

Good Choice!! Been carfree for 12 or more years. I live and work in the city so it's not like I have a 20 mile ride on the expressway to get to work - I'd need a car for that. Welcome welcome - this is a huge forum with many avenues for your interest (steering towards the commuting and carfree forums ...)
And have fun out there!
