Another rider in Denver
Hi let me introduce myself. I've been commuting and riding in Denver and Colorado for 16 years.
Spent some time living in the mountains outside of Colorado Springs and did a lot of riding around that town too. Now I'm back in the Denver area.
I am not really a forum posting kind of guy. Been lurking here for a while and have seen some posts that I'd like to reply to so ...
I'm not hard core but I like to think I'm in good shape and fairly fast. I have my opinions about road laws and road etiquette and my stories about aggressive drivers who buzz/yell/throw things at me.
No one I know wants to listen to me talk about these things so here I am. I also have many great memories of great rides and ordinary every day rides are special things and make life far more tolerable than it would be without the bicycle.
I have a job/house/family that are lots of work so you won't find me doing the big rides in Colorado. One day I'd like to get on one of these group rides around Denver ... when I can get the time.
Until then, thanks for having me.
