Hello from Ann Arbor!
...although I'm originally from the Grand Rapids and graduated from MSU (shhh!). I commute to work here in A2 on my 09 Kona Dew and am really interested in trying cyclocross. I guess I'm focused now on getting as much info on cyclocross in the area as possible. If you have any insight or wanna go for a ride, drop me a line.

Welcome to the Forums. I'm a native of the East Side of Detroit, and lived in Ann Arbor and learned to appreciate the cycling lifestyle there in the 1970's, so I always like to say Hi to Michigan cyclists. At that time I joined the AA Bicycle Touring Society, and about two years ago I found a website of a similarly named group. I have inquired, but haven't been able to find out if the new group is a direct continuation the Society as I knew it. Back then I used to ride a lot out to Dexter, Whitmore Lake, Pinckney, and even two trips to East Lansing (shhh!).
Currently, I'm a year-round commuter and occasional centurian here in Boston, and previously a bike tourist, including in Michigan, Ontario, and a cross-country trip.

Thanks for the warm welcome, all! I'm loving the bike-friendliness of Ann Arbor. Went for a light cruise yesterday on Huron Pkwy and stopped to snap some photos in the prairie by Glazier.

Welcome from Pittsfield Township...Really good MTB at Pinckney and good road riding most everywhere. AABTS and MMBA are great resources.....
There's a cyclocross race once or twice a year at Veterans park. I've never participated but seen them racing as I passed by.
