Stuck on a theme
Since 1992 I've done the Icefields Parkway tour Jasper to Banff, Banff to Jasper, Jasper to Lake Louise, Lake Louise to Jasper 13 times. Usually it has been a three day unsupported camping tour, once four days with a hike thrown in on the extra day, a couple of times I took two days, and once did it on a bare bike in one long, hot day. Over the years, various touring partners have joined me, but it seems to be getting more difficult to find folks able and available to join me and interested in the route. My wife has done the tour with me twice, once in each direction, so she sees no point in doing it again. Guess I'm stuck on a theme, but as others have said, it may be the best mountain scenery on the planet when seen from a touring bike.
