Hi from Enid, Oklahoma, USA!

Hi, everybody! I've been riding bikes since I was a little girl, but now have taken it a bit more seriously. I've been road biking for about four years now. I have a Specialized Tricross Comp and a Roubaix Elite Comp. I also ride a Trek 7200 FX when I just want to get some good exercise. I love snooping around on these forums because I have learned so much from them. I finally decided to register and introduce myself. Biking has definitely become a passion or maybe an addiction? Anyway, glad to be here!

Welcome to the fourms. Grew up not far from you in Edmond, back in the 70's when it was a quiet little town outside of OK City.

Sounds like you have a nice stable of bikes.

There is a women's only forum, let a moderator know if you want access to it.

Thanks for the welcome! I'll check on the women's forum. I love Edmond! I have a biking friend who just moved there and she is constantly talking about the evening hill rides they do. I'm so jealous!

Hi kkor and welcome to Bike Forums!!

We DO have a womens forum and after one month of membership and a reasonable amount of posts I can slip you a key. Remind me a month from now and I'll go over your file. :)

Seem to be more Oklahomans here than I thought. Hello from OKC!

Hey thanks! I was at Al's and Wheeler Dealer the other day looking around. I get to OKC once in a while to shop. One of these days I want to load up and come down and ride around Lake Hefner. It just looks like a pretty ride.

Welcome. I spent 18 months im McAlester back in the 70's at what was the Naval Ammunition Depot (I mentioned the Depot just in case anyone thought I was in prison).

During that 18 months I experienced both the hottest and coldest weather I have ever been. As I recall, it was up to 114 degrees in the summer, and down to 14 below that winter.
